| Fuel is a complicated molecule, and not all of it is burned, these are facts. You split water, it takes energy. You recombine the O2 and H2 and you get the energy back except for a small amount that is lost to heat and breaking down the materials of your device. But on balance you just about but don't quite break even. These are facts. The people *claim* that the presence of extra H2 allows more complete burning of the gasoline into the usual products. That is extra energy that you get that was previously wasted down the exhaust pipe as hydrocarbon emissions. This extra energy can be much much more than the loss due to heat in the electrolysis. Also, they seem to *claim* that the gasoline burns into new products that have less residual potential chemical energy than the usual products. The claim is not that the people have discovered a kind of physically impossible perpetual motion machine as you insisted. The claim is something that is completely reasonable from a chemical point of view. I am not well-equipped to determine if the claim is complete BS or not based on the chemistry, but I am in a good position to say that on the surface your objections are not valid.
